As an example, Russell says there should be a law requiring all New Zealand building companies to carry public liability insurance for the protection of their clients, but there isn't. "So we have always insisted that all our people are insured," he explains, "We also have a requirement that they take on experienced tradespeople, comply with our rigorous service standards and health and safety policy, and put right any defective workmanship and materials. And we've put it all in writing for our clients."

2. Quality workmanship
We guarantee our workmanship for 5 years. In the unlikely event that any of our workmanship does not meet the standards
above, we will put it right promptly and at no cost to you.
3. Guaranteed materials
We guarantee to use only materials and products where we are required to supply them on your project that meet Pzazz
building quality and durability standards and which give you the protection of a manufacturer’s guarantee.
4. The right person for the job
We guarantee to use the right person for the job. That means if your project requires a tradesperson, we will always use a
qualified tradesperson, not a handyman or unqualified person. And for your protection, all our people are security-screened.
5. Service Standards
We guarantee to provide you with high standards of service. Our people will turn up when they say they will (or let you know if they are delayed), be well presented in a Pzazz Building uniform, listen to you, treat your home or premises with respect, and leave the work site in a better condition than they found it.
6. Insurance protection
We guarantee that we carry appropriate Public Liability Insurance for your protection in the unlikely event that any damage or injuries are caused by us.
7. Health and Safety
We guarantee to protect the safety of everyone on and around the project site by implementing a health and safety site
programme which complies with relevant OSH legislation.
8. Clear Pricing
We guarantee that there will be no surprises when it comes to paying your bill. Our quote details what’s included, what’s not and if applicable how things like requests for extra’s and/or price fluctuations are handled - see our Conditions of Service and Sale for details.
9. Completion date
We guarantee to complete your project in the time we say we will, unless changes or extras have been agreed along the way, or
issues which are genuinely beyond our control delay the completion date, in which case we will give you reasonable notice.
10. Putting it right
We guarantee to that if there is fault in the workmanship in the next five years, we will put right for you.
